Annika West, PSIP Somatic Therapist, NPR

Clients often describe Annika’s presence as calm, intuitive, and deeply grounding – a steady companion as they navigate the inner landscapes of healing and self-discovery.

Annika is a trauma-informed somatic therapist specializing in PSIP (Psychedelic Somatic Interactional Psychotherapy), NeuroPhysical Reprogramming (NPR), and mindfulness-based approaches to healing.

Her work sits at the intersection of emerging psychedelic-assisted therapies and somatic practice. Thus reflecting a growing movement toward healing that honors both neuroscience and the innate wisdom of the body.

Annika’s path to working with psychedelics began not in a classroom, but in the body. As an early participant in the MAPS MDMA-assisted therapy, and later in a pilot study in Amsterdam exploring cannabis and psilocybin-assisted treatment for PTSD, she experienced firsthand what becomes possible when the body is invited into the healing process. Those experiences shaped not only her understanding of trauma but also the course of her professional life.

Today, Annika brings over twenty years of experience in mind-body modalities to her practice. Her training includes PSIP (Certificate of Mastery – Level 1), Internal Family Systems (IFS), NeuroPhysical Reprogramming (NPR), Hakomi, Trauma Dynamics, Yoga Nidra, Grinberg Method and Reiki. This broad foundation allows her to meet each person where they are, thoughtfully tailoring her approach to the unique needs of the individual.

Working with cannabis and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy within carefully held therapeutic environments, Annika supports clients as they explore deeply held physiological and emotional patterns while creating the conditions for the nervous system’s natural capacity for regulation, integration, and healing. Her work is grounded in the belief that transformation arises not from forcing change, but from allowing the body’s own intelligence to complete what it has long been carrying.
